I'm dreaming of a White Christmas...

After a very mild December we had a small Christmas miracle on Christmas Eve.
It started with one flake, then two, then four then ten and pretty soon our whole little world was covered in the beautiful white blanket of Christmas Magic.

The kids get ready for Santa's big arrival by spreading out their reindeer food.

(Just to show the the contrast from our unusually mild winter,
this is the girls waiting for the bus the last week before
                                 Christmas break.
Yes, the snow falling on Christmas Eve
was the Christmas miracle we were all hoping for.)

It was a regular "unique" family nativity! Mary, Jospeh and our real life baby Jesus.

Two Shepards and two Angels.

A zebra.

Three Wise Women.

And another successful and completely accurate family nativity!

Twas the night before Christmas...

Cookies for Santa.

While visions of sugar plums danced in their heads!

Merry Christmas
to all and to all
a good night!
