We had a wonderful Christmas despite the fact that this Christmas will for ever be remembered as the year of the "Plague".
When you live in Idaho you expect the chills, but when the chills are accompanied by fevers and upset stomach then you are grateful for a quite Christmas at home!
Christmas morning with the kiddos began around 7:30am (not too bad).
Stockings that once were hung with care are now being dumped everywhere.
Chocolate for breakfast!
Addi is very excited as she spies what's inside!
Austin and his new huggable buddy.
Frozen for two.
Main Street Disneyland toy for a little boy!
This about sums up Christmas when Daddy is "too sick" to open gifts and needs assistance.
It's a bird, it's a plane, it's super Austin!!
(or at least it will be when he figures out how to see though his mask!)
And once again, Christmas really out did it's self!
These are some happy kiddos!
The Plague takes another victim!
And another,
And another...
A true depiction of a mom's life.
It actually started with Addi, who then had to miss the last couple of days of school before Christmas break, including a quick trip to the hospital for a urine culture because it always goes straight to her kidneys. Results came back fine and once she was on an antibiotic she was back to her normal self, but not before passing it on to Mommy, followed by Daddy and then the three little monkey's (didn't want to leave anyone out of all the 'fun'). Thank goodness there were plenty of new toys and gadgets to keep us occupied during our Christmas Quarantine.
Boy Toys.
Exciting new territory of adventure and imagination in our home!
Seriously this kid.
Seriously.

(Mom and Dad) + (Flu) = (Kids) + (Electronics)
This was found where Leighton had been playing,
Pretend nap time. If only it were this easy.
Winter wonderland.
We have had a pretty mild winter this year, and it was not looking like we would have a white Christmas, but just as we were sitting down for Christmas Eve dinner 'it' happened. The snow started falling softly, bringing the Christmas spirit with it as it fell. And it snowed, and snowed!
And so this is ChristmasAnd what have we doneAnother year overAnd a new one just begunAnd so this is ChristmasI hope you have funThe near and the dear oneThe old and the young
