We took the kids to the Pumpkin Farm and really got into the harvest spirit. Addi loved going on the pumpkin train, however Dad may not have enjoyed the cramped quarters as much. After going around the pumpkin farm Addi was able to pick out a few of her favorites to take home and carve. Lexi enjoyed the farm as well all bundled up in her blankets, she didn't even seem to mind the cool fall air. Mom couldn't resist getting a snap shot of both her cute little pumpkins!
Lexi is such a pretty girl. Her eyes have changed from the almost black color to bright blue, and each day they seem to get bigger and bigger. She is going to have big bright eyes just like her big sister. We were comparing their baby pics side by side and they have several similarities, other than being beautiful! Lexi is an aggressive eater and she makes these growling noises as she searches for her bottle. She seems to be doing really well on her formula and the best part is she is not a spitter-upper, sorry Addi but you were a soaker. She is starting to fill out a bit in the face but if you scroll to see her Sunday pics you can see that she still has her long skinny chicken legs. She is getting so strong and can not only lift her head up but she also can arch her back to look around (I need to get a picture). She also moves a lot for her age as she rolls from side to side and at night she somehow wiggles herself down to the foot of her bed. We went and had baby pictures taken the other day. Lexi started it out with a bang by peeing all over Mommy and then when she was handed over to Daddy so Mom could clean up the mess she then took the opportunity to poop in his hand, twice! Big Sister did really well at the photo session too and we really hope the pics turn out of the two of them together.
We are slowly getting adjusted and its been great that Grandma is here helping. Time seems to be flying by too quickly and we are not sure what we do all day but as long as everyone is fed, dry and happy then Mom and Dad are happy.
