One Week Old

Lexi is one week old today, we can't believe it. She is still so tiny but she is a good eater and sleeper. She is the most smiley newborn, and yes we know that it's probably just gas at this point but it is amazing when she smiles! She hates taking a bath but loves being wrapped up in a warm fuzzy towel after. She is such a beautiful blessing in our lives.
Life in hotel is interesting. We can never seem to get ourselves together before noon, house keeping doesn't even knock on our door anymore- they know that we will need a couple of hours before they can get into our room. They must monitor us somehow because our room is always clean within the time period we are gone.
We are getting adjusted to having a little one again. Lexi wakes about every three hours during the night for feedings and would rather be held that be in her own bed. The best part about neither of us having to go to work right now is that we can take turns waking up which helps.

Addi is doing really well considering her play space is very limited now. It's hard to entertain a two year old when your at a hotel and it's pouring rain out side. The staff here at the hotel are great and let her pick out a treat from the concession stand each day, and she enjoys going swimming when she can. In fact she just told her dad that she wanted to give him a hug and then proceeded to say "please, please, please, please, please go swimming!" You can't say no to someone that cute. She is completely off her routine with the no naps and staying awake as long as she possibly can, it will be interesting to see how she handles normal life when we return home.

I'm glad you are blogging now, it's nice to keep up on your life more often. Lexi and Addi are so cute. It's nice you guys can just relax and enjoy the kids at the hotel or wherever you go and not have to worry about work right now. You can always get back into the routine later. :)
