Living it up in Idaho

Back at home we thought we would have a relaxing summer. 
No one informed us that having three kids we would never relax again! 
 So we decided to join in on all the summer fun and it's kept us busy, busy, busy!!

T-ball- Go Flamingo's!! or is it Flamingoes?  Each game it was spelled different.  We kicked off the season by going to the store to by Addi a glove and ball.  That morning while Mommy was getting the kids ready Addi watched a cartoon that talked about "going green" and walking places instead of driving.  So Mommy thought she would take the kids to Target via a stroller.  Mommy didn't seem to take into account that target is 5 miles away and three kids in a stroller means pushing an extra 70+ pounds for 5 miles.  We made it to our destination about an hour and a half later, but called Daddy to come pick us up (yet another mistake because we ended up picking up a tee and bat as well).  Mommy has decided that green is not our color.

Addi loved T-ball.  She became really good but some of the seasons highlights for her happened at the beginning of the season.  At practice her coach told them that when they get the ball they needed to throw it right away, as if the ball was hot.  After that Addi would not even pick up the ball, cuz it was hot and she did not want to burn herself.  Another highlight was from practice.  They had practiced catching (picking up) the ball, then running and tagging the nearest base before the runner got there.  So the next day at the game, Addi was playing short stop.  The ball was hit in her direction, she ran, got it, then ran over to the pitchers mound, tagged it, then pumped both arms in the air in victory of tagging a base before any runner.

Our little twins.  I probably had seven people in the grocery store today ask if my girls were twins.  Including one lady who pulled over while we were loading the car to ask.  I didn't know that twins are such a phenomena here in Idaho and eventually I am going to just start saying "Yup, identical twins. Thanks for asking". 

I know I'm not really helping my case by dressing them identical.

Our sweet, beautiful, little Lexi just can't handle the constant flash of the camera from the Momarazzi.  She blinks every time, but she is still our funny, sweet little girl.

Showing off her treasure, our little Lexi is turning into quite the little toddler.  She is quite humorous and communicates very well, half with her increasing verbal repertoire and half with her actions. 

Lexi loves nursery and will often come home and want to play the games she played that day.  At the pool she kept going around all the mom's sitting on the side patting them on the head and saying "duck"  (in Lexi's duck, duck, goose there are only ducks).

Little Miss I Can Do It Myself

Lei is our little funny face as she loves to pull all sorts of faces.  She has been crawling for seven months now but only recently she will stand up all on her own. Walking can't be that far off, we just don't know if we should encourage it or be scared. 

Oh, and Mommy had a birthday!

Mommy's untraditonal b-day cake.  Pecan crust, good.  Cream cheese and chocolate filling, good.  Whip cream topping with chocolate shavings, good.  Looks like Lei approves too!
