The Gran Fam: Its begining to look a lot like Christmas!

The Holiday Season is here in Idaho.

We know that we have to get those letters to Santa early, cuz you won't get anything unless he gets your letter!

Leighton thought that our Elf Eldon needed a girlfriend this year.

Christmas dance program for Leighton, in which she refused to wear the red tutu and half way through the program she began to throw a tantrum about not liking the other girls in her class.

Ironically they were dancing to 'Santa Claus is Coming to Town',

Leighton must have missed those lyrics!

Wishing that her Bah-hum bug attitude was isolated in dance class.

At her school program Leighton had a melt down after the first number because the girl beside her was doing the actions and Leighton felt that she was blocking her view. Soooo, she yelled at the poor little girl during the entire second number, pushed her, squeezed her arm, flicked her and then tried to stand in front of the other girls with arms outstretched to block the other girl.

If it wasn't so shocking and mortifying it would be funny.

(Oh and Lexi was there too, just in the back corner at the top of the risers, she couldn't stand still and she almost fell off the riser twice.)

Back to being my sweetheart,
Leighton asks:

"Mommy, can I give you a "Horsey" Kiss?"

A trip to the North Pole to meet Santa, Mrs.Claus, Frosty and the Grinch!

It is so close to our house that we often stop by more than once per holiday season!

Lexi: "A baggie with water, I'm pretending that I have a new fish."

Mom: "Lexi, what is beside my bed?"

Lexi: "It's a present for Daddy, in case he gets thirsty. I filled it with water."

Lexi: "Mom, take a picture of my giraffe."

Mom: "Lexi?!?"

Lexi: "I put my monkey on the mirror so when I am washing my hands I look like a monkey."

Lexi: "Mom, give me that big bear, I want to buy it!"

Mom: "Where would you even put a bear that big?"

Lexi: "In my bed."

Lexi: "Look at my robot arms!"

Happy to have Grammy along for the ride to snuggle with as we sleigh ride through the festival of lights. Don't blink, your eye lashes will freeze together!
