It's Raining It's Pouring, the whole town is FLOODING!!
Claresholm is not a town on or near a river, so when we came home from Edmonton in the middle of the night we were shocked to see the amount of standing water the streets. With the water up to the top of our wheel wells, we were very nervous to drive down Grandpa's dirt road, and we were very luck that we didn't get stuck!
This is the water that lined Grandpa's mile long driveway.
This is the elementary school playground right next to Grandpa's road.
This is the corner of town and one of Grandpa's fields under water. You can see that at one point the water would have covered the road too.
This is the assited living hospital parking lot where Grandma-Grandma lives.
We made a deal with the kids that once the road was dry enough to ride the four wheeler on, we would give them each a ride per bucket of rocks they picked. WE would take their buckets of rocks with us on the ride and dump them in the deep ruts that were made from the cars driving down the road when the dirt was muddy and soft. We had to repair the road so that our cousins and friends could come visit us and play!
Cousin fun.
These two buddies are only a couple of months apart and I am sure they will get into tons of mischief as they grow up together!
Cousin cuteness!

Digging for hidden treasure! Oh the imagination of a child...
A very true life moment as Addi shows her displeasure for the hair duo I gave her.
