A long (long) over due Mommy and Daddy weekend escape to the Zerrmatt in Midway Utah. It was a work trip for Daddy and spa date for Mommy. A four hour drive that ended up being 6 hours of driving in white out conditions. (No really, we drove through Salt Lake City and we couldn't see the city at all. In fact we could barely even see the cars around us.) But all is well that ends well, and we had a fabulous weekend of shopping, massage, meals, pedicure... Oh well at least Mommy did, Daddy was stuck in boring meetings.
We also visited the Majestic Ice Castle.
They show how they make the layers using chain link fence panels. It was a really interesting concept. The girls would have loved the Castle.

When getting her ready for school I discovered that she secretly had made her own stash of goldfish crackers in her backpack!

On a "snow day" when school was cancelled Addi decided that she wanted to go to Daddy's work for a picnic in the break room. She even packed Daddy a lunch, all by herself. Sandwiches, chips, juice box and the game Sequence for kids. This was going to be a super fun lunch hour for Daddy!
I love my sister! The girls are ready to celebrate valentines day.
Here's looking at you kid! We went in for a simple, annual eye exam, we came out with glasses. Mommy was completely blindsided by the news. Addi showed no symptoms that she was struggling seeing, and a year ago her eyes were seeing 20/20. But she makes glasses look good, and they are in her favorite color purple!
