It's that time again when we ring in the New Year in West Yellowstone!!
And each year as the kids get older, this trip gets easier in ways and harder in others, but we all agree that it's worth every minute of family fun.

Even though we have had a considerably mild winter thus far, the trip to West Yellowstone was a bit blizzardy for our liking and we were relieved once we had arrived.

This is the reason why we keep coming back, a chance to go swimming with the kiddo's.
The second reason why we keep coming back. The Butch Cassidy pizza. We wait all year for a slice of this mouth watering goodness, and as you can see, waiting is not our strong suit! This pizza is so good and so uniquely topped with brisket, onion and baked beans. Yup, this is the good stuff.
We just couldn't pass up the chance to check out the Grizzly and Wolf Exhibit.
This is when Ausi takes a moment to show his new favorite 'skill' by throwing his pacifier into the grizzly exhibit.
Our friend 'Takoda" the wolf. He was very interested in the kids, maybe a little too interested as he made mommy a little nervous. He paced back and forth in front of the kids and stared intently at them, the kids however loved the up close encounter.
Family time back inside where it was warm!
Kids are finally getting to the point where we can play a board game together!
Snacking on New Years is just part of the whole package.
Coloring is a favorite activity.
Listening to some tunes while coloring is a plus.
Hearing the kids belt out their favorite parts of the song, priceless.
And of course more swimming!
Being together as a family is the best way to ring in the new year. We are looking forward to all that 2014 has in store for us!
