Home at Last
and just in time for Daddy's Birthday.
Austin starts walking! He was so ready to start while we were gone but Daddy didn't want to miss out on seeing Ausi walk for the first time. The first day we were home, Ausi showed us just what he could do!
Of course we had to go to Bear World as soon as we got home, do you think the bears missed us?
Lexi brought her best friend with her, these two peas in a pod missed each other.
We got to see this guy, a unique buck who's antlers didn't branch like normal.
Mommy had to take an afternoon off for some school shopping.
This rare 'me party' called for a Tom's Gyro.
Yummy = Happy Mommy!
Waiting by the window.
I love it when the kids are excited with anticipation.
A new swing set was waiting for the girls when we got home. Now there is a swing for everyone! And Lexi learned how to swing all by herself!
Which has also resulted in a few mornings finding Lexi outside swinging in nothing but her undies.
Lei has stopped taking naps this summer which has been hard on Mommy with no nappers (grr Austin).
But with Lei starting preschool soon it was inevitable.
Several days in a row without a nap has seemed to catch up with her as she falls asleep during lunch.
Not sure what this trio is up to, but Ausi wants to be a part of it. He thinks he is just as big as the girls and wants to be right there with them no matter what they are doing.
The Ring Leader, a Princess and the Pant-less Wonder.
Sounds like trouble to me.
Lexi is my budding little artist. This is her picture of Daddy and Mommy.
In her world it looks like she thinks we are Zombie centipedes.
Trying to get this little guy to sleep. As you can see I am holding him yet again. He gets really sweaty when he is tired. Wet and matted baby head.
Lexi and her bestie B. Love these two girls.
At the zoo, Leighton is now brave enough to brush the goats.
Our garden did quite well this year, this is only our first haul of tomatoes, peas, beans, peppers, squash and zucchini which is odd since I didn't even plant zucchini.
Oh yeah, hanging with Mommy is so cool!
First week back and Daddy deserts us for a five day training in Salt Lake.
Mommy takes the kiddos to the movies to see Monsters University.
Our little Monkeys
So now that we are home, you would think we would be done traveling. Hmm, not yet!
Off to Boise for a wedding and a weekend of fun. The kids loved playing at a splash park with our BFF's.
Addi and her bestie S.
Little Minion
A trip to the zoo with our cousins.
Checking out Logan Utah!
Daddy's job covers an office in Logan that he goes to twice a month, but the rest of us have never been there, so finally we got to tag along with Daddy on his work day in Logan.
We, however, did not work. We played with our Cousins! Logan is very family friendly and has a lot to offer. We played at the famous 'Castle' park that we have heard so much about.
We also went swimming at the Aquatic Park.
We just happened to be the only ones there since school had already started in Logan!
A private pool is Mommy's favorite kind! The Lifeguards let the kids go down the water slides by them selves, and there was a lifeguard at the bottom who would catch the smaller kids. They even let Ausi go down on my lap! We had so much fun, it was an awesome day and we can't wait to go again.
On the way home we stopped to see the monument erected in the honor of Daddy's great great grandfather Jefferson Hunt outside of Downey Idaho.
My little music man.
Couldn't resist posting these chubby cheeks.
It's not a box. It's whatever you make out of it.
Lexi takes full advantage of an empty box and a few crayons.
Another masterpiece from Lexi. She loves coloring everything Rainbow. She also loves doing her "homework" which consists of traceable ABC pages where Lexi will trace in each line with a different color making rainbow letters.
Handsome.
I have started calling him Handsome from time to time (it's fitting and true). Even Lei told someone the other day that his name was 'Handsome Boy'. He obviously took that to a whole other level.
Happy Guy.
Cousin Camp Out.
On our last Saturday of Summer we decided to go camping with our cousins. We set up a tent in the back yard, made smores, jumped on the trampoline, played Wii and had a pancake breakfast! It was a great end of summer activity.
8 sticky kids hyped up on marshmallows and chocolate.
I love all the fake sleeping posers, except for Lexi- she was completely out!
We had a great summer and we are glad to be home!

You are a good mom and do so many fun things. I love so many of these pictures so much. Ausi is getting so handsome - he can totally carry off the bow. And I love the Brinn and Boston playing video games pic. Keep up the fun and hopefully I get to see you guys soon.
What a fun and amazing summer - you did such a good job capturing it! Next time we'll have to try and share more of it with you!
Great post! Glad your trip to Logan made it, you are doing a great job getting caught up!
