Just enjoying our summer and taking advantage of any opportunity to hang out as a family.
We went for a walk around the river. Lexi looked quite relaxed as she lay back and put her feet up on the stroller!

Lei is happy to get out! Look at all that dark hair!

Feeding the ducks is always fun. We love watching Addi throw the bread because she throws like a girl and the bread doesn't make it very far. Lexi just thinks the bread is for lunch and has no interest in sharing it with her feathered friends.

Mommy and Addi decided to play make-up artists together, in this pic you will see how much fun we were having but when mommy left to take care of her sisters Addi decided to apply a nice even coat of fuchsia colored make-up over her entire face, neck and arms. She looked like an Umpa Lumpa or the girl who turned into a blue berry and needed to be squeezed.

We were excited to have the Blue Angels in Idaho and took the fam to watch the jets. Addi did not like how loud they were and would cling to us whenever she saw them in the sky. The babes slept through most the show. It was amazing, pictures do not do it justice.

Addi is under the impression that everyday is someones birthday since we have had so many family birthdays in a row. Every morning she asks who's birthday it is today and if we are going to have cake that day. She is growing up so fast as she has passed from the toddler stage to a little girl.
Lexi is crawling! She had been scooting around in a circle for a while but now there is no stopping her. She loves her new found freedom and is taking full advantage of it. She and Addi will make loops through the kitchen and living room. Addi screeches and says Lexi is chasing her, Lexi just thinks it is funny. Lexi also likes to carry small stuffed toys in her mouth as she crawls, she looks like a mother cat carrying her kitten. Lexi has also been introduced to the meat baby food (or as mom thinks of it as why we don't have pets, it smells just like canned pet food-gross). Mommy's big parenting tip for picky eaters, Just feed them a few bites of the pureed meat and then your kid will think the green peas taste great and will eat them all up.
Lei is a sweet little baby. She is sleeping through the night at two months old (yeah!). Both Lei and Lexi have a dimple on their left cheeks. Lei holds her head up really well and love to just look around. She looks just like her daddy as a baby, we'll have to try and see if we can get a photo of daddy to do a side by side post some time!
I had someone comment on the blog about the girls and their nicknames. We actually use their full names more often at home but since this blog is not protected with a password we decided to not divulge all of our personal information, hence using their nick names. Thanks to everyone for your comments and for just enjoying the blog!!
