HappyThanksgiving!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

We have so much to be thankful for this year but we are most thankful for these two little girls who have come to our family. As many of you know, just a little over two years ago we were struggling with infertility and a desire to be parents. After the many years of tears, prayers and fastings we now look at these two beautiful girls and we see the Lords love in our own lives and the blessings we have received. We are also thankful for our girls birthmothers, because of their courage, love and willingness to follow the promptings of the Spirit, they made the hardest sacrifice and have given us the ultimate gift. We love them and they will always be our families angels.

Addi has quite the sense of humor. Today she wanted to go down stairs and watch the Tinkerbell movie. I told her that maybe she should see if Lexi wanted to watch a movie too, so Addi went over to Lexi's bassinet and said "Hi Lexi Lu, do you want to watch Tinkerbell movie? Okay, ask Mommy to carry you down stairs!" Addi is such a good big sister, she loves to help feed Lexi her bottles and she loves to give Lexi hugs. Addi loves it when the three of us snuggle on the couch and she says snuggling is just for girls!

Lexi is changing everyday right before our eyes! She has grown out of some of her newborn size clothes and is starting to fit into some of her three month outfits. She is so smiley, I have been trying to catch it on camera but I think my lighting is bad, and the flash always makes her close her eyes. Lexi has these big beautiful dark blue eyes and eyelashes that anyone would be envious of. They are so long and curl up all on their own. She is getting better at grasping toys and will hold them on her own for a few seconds. Big sister is always trying to help her and supply her with toys.

Life is sure busier with these two girls but we would never want it any other way!
