Thankful

Gobble Gobble,
and much to be thankful for this year. I
n fact we have 13 things we are thankful for from the year 2013.

First up is these four kiddos.
School pics are in and up, I can't believe how fast they are growing.

Second would be for imagination.
Lei keeps it all about princesses and pretends to be a princess trapped in 'tower' as she calls out for Daddy to 'save' her!

And the fact that she continues to use her fork to comb her hair, even at restaurants.

Third would be for bubble baths, which this kids will begin chanting for in hopes that it will persuade Mom and Dad to give into their wishes.

Fourth would be for those tender moments of kids getting along and interacting with each other.

Fifth would be for family adventures, big or small.  We took a work day with Daddy and traveled to Logan to play with our cousins while Daddy worked.

Sixth would be for the first snow day of the year.
And Seventh would be for our awesome Daddy who does so many things for us like taking the kids sledding.  (C'mon, somebody has to be ready with the hot chocolate when they come back in!)

Eighth would be for creativity when the kids decide to "create", at least this time it was just with stickers.

Ninth would be for 20 minute power naps giving Mommy 20 minutes to do something with out little hands helping.

Tenth would be for others.  We have so many great people around us that help us raise our 'village'.  Addi was given a mini piano lesson by a sweet neighbor.

Eleventh, independence?  As the kids get bigger they also begin to help them selves more.  Every morning when Mommy is getting ready for the day the kids like to help themselves to the cereal and the bread.  You can see Leighton's dilemma as she try's to hide from Mommy by covering her eyes (cuz of course Mommy can't see you if you cover your eyes) but she still wants to watch her show.  Problem solved, cover one eye to hide and keep one open to watch.

Twelveth would be for fun cousin late night parties this year.

The thirteenth would be for you!
Thank you for being a part of our lives by reading this blog and joining us on this crazy adventure that we call family.
