We kicked off our summer with Lei turning 3!
Princess theme, cupcake decorating and cousins.
Sounds like a party doesn't it?
Rapunzel style hitting of the pinata.
Everyone takes a turn.
Birthday girl gets her first set of wheels.
Happy Birthday Sweet Little Girl!
She may look just a little bit like Mommy and Daddy.
Just a little. (sorry about the poor quality)
Addi graduates from Kindergarten.
Shaking Principle Smiths hand.
Addi with Mrs. Walton
Who zoos? We Zoo.
Summer means zoo pass, and we get our moneys worth our of it!
It also helps that the zoo is in walking distance from our house, however we have discovered that our triple stroller is not super zoo friendly.
Family mini hike to Cress Creek.
Gymnastics for the girls.
Addi and Lexi have both done some gymnastics before but this was a first for Lei. It was interesting. She did very well and is learning lots about sitting and staying with a group.
Lei is taking her pretend play to new heights literally. She thinks the curtains are like rapunzel's hair and she tries to swing on them, slide down them- she will literally stand in the window and call out "rapunzel, let down your hair" then jump out of the window hanging from the curtains.
Another scissors and hair mishap. Thank goodness we caught her in time.
She was very excited about what she had done,
then I told her it was naughty.
Happy Father's Day! Our Daddy is the best.
A three generation pic is mandatory on Ausi's first father's day, and the fact that he was named after both Daddy and Skipper.
We are a pro bib family, and this pic proves why.
Lexi, our big girl, has informed us that she is too big for her baby high chair and baby bib.
Just not sure Mommy and Daddy or her clothes are ready for this next step.
Trial and Error.
Baby Ausi learns some life lessons and takes his first tumble down the stairs.
Ouch.
We got him checked out and he's fine, the giant welt is not as bad as it looks.
Daddy Daughter Date!
Daddy took his girls to the circus.
They even talked him into letting them ride the elephant!
Trouble, right here in IF city.
They say things come in threes, in our case that means it comes in three year olds.
Our two three year olds and their innocent looks may fool you, but I see the black specks and Lexi's black nose which can only mean one thing- the oreos have disappeared!
Lexi and her BF-Brielle.
These little buddies have grown up together and live across the street from each other.
Lei and the ice cream cone.
It could have been the making of a great short film. It was melting faster than she could eat it, dripping everywhere, at one point we dumped it into a cup so that she could eat it with a spoon but in the end I think she was wearing more ice cream then she ate.
I think it's so cute when the kids fall asleep.
This is Addi, completely tuckered out and snoring.
Bear World Season Pass Holders. There is going to be a lot of bear pics to come.
This was a great late afternoon trip to Bear World, we were the only ones there. The kids would run from ride to ride, sometimes they would run to opposite rides and the operator would let them on and ride completely by them selves. It was crazy, it was fun and it was by far my favorite trip yet to bear world.
We love it so much we had to take our cousins!
Even Ausi joins the fun riding with Aunt K.
Bears! Oh my!
We also have loved having late night parties with our cousins.
Campfire, s'mores, and a movie.
S'MORE SUMMER FUN PLEASE!!!!
