Things are Hoppin around our house, especially the kids!
Little Lei is quirky and curious.
She is into everything
from mom's jewelry to baby Ausi's (no longer used) bassinet.
She loves to play pretend and often wants to be a puppy (complete with wanting to eat her food in a bowl on the floor), or a baby (wanting Mommy to feed her a sippy cup like a baby bottle).
But her favorite pretend play is being a princess. She will put on a princess dress (or two or three at the same time) and want to dance or try on Mommy's high heel 'slippers'.

And sometimes she's just plain quirky.
I wish this was a rare thing, but Lei will often empty her bowl or plate and try to wear them.
Picnic in the sunshine (cuz its still too cold to go out).
Lexi Lou is such a funny little girl.
She comes up with the funniest things all the time. When I went into her room to get her up from her nap, I found a large lumpy mound taking up most of her bed.

Just a few of her toys took a little siesta with her.
Lexi has the cutest little girl voice and she is so expressive when she talks. Her new thing is wanting to do everything 'like a big girl'. She wants a "big girl chair', 'big girl plate', 'big girl flip flops! Because she is such a big girl, we even got her a 'big girl bed'!
Lexi can also be a little quirky, when we ask her about anything she will tell us "fourteen times". How many pretzels do you want? "Fourteen times", Did you play with a friend to day? "Yes, fourteen times", Did you pick up the toys? "I picked them ALL up, fourteen times".
Ausi.
This is what we call "Chubby Goodness".
Love it, can't get enough of it.
He just had his 9 month check up, he is 21.5 lbs. and 28.5 inches.
That puts him roughly around the 50% range for growth.
He's just so round and all cheeks! Who knew that chubby, short and bald could be sooo cute!
Addi is the ultimate big sister and she is showing how big she is getting all the time by reading everything around her.
She will read street signs while we are driving, menus, instructions.... she's a reading machine. She has been found up late a night reading when she was suppose to be asleep.
Getting ready to Hop around with the Easter Bunny,
Lexi and Lei make bunny plates at playgroup.
Being Mr. Ausi's first Easter, he is not quite sure what to think about all the 'hop'-ula.
The Cutest little Bunnies.
Bunny Treats!
Somehow the Easter Bunny was able to follow us all the way to St.George for spring break.
Because we were gone this year we had portable Easter bags, and Easter coloring books and other on the go activities.
This boy is almost hoppin.
Ausi is mobile as he scoots around in a sitting position. He has learned a new trick, he will go from all fours and will plant his feet and push him self up into a wide-leg standing position then shift his weight and then land on his bum.
It works for him, as long as he doesn't end up on his back cuz then he is stuck since he has not yet learned how to roll!
