Spring In Bloom!

Spring is here in Idaho and we are trying to take full advantage of the unusually warm weather we have been having.  

Addi has had a break though this spring, she has decided that Ladybugs and Worms don't bite and it's okay to hold them, put them in bucket/jars/cups (what ever she can find) and she wants to keep them as pets.  

Love this beautiful smiling face! (and we are so excited to get a picture of lexi with her eyes open!)  Lexi is changing every day.  She loves to follow and play with her big sister Addi.  She is getting more verbal, but when we can't understand we turn to Addi for a translation.  One of mommy's favorite moments recently was one morning our early riser Lexi came over to Mommy's side of the bed said "Good Morning Sweetie!"

 Lei is so happy to be walking this summer- so is Mommy.

Pretty Princesses.  Addi and Lexi are best little buddies and do everything together.  Lexi loves doing anything that Addi is doing, and Addi is very patient and helpful with Lexi.

Lei has become the babe that gets into everything!  She has been caught trying to climb the plantation shutters like a ladder, she has colored both window panes and ledges, this is her spinning around in a frying pan like it was a sit and spin.... she is just so busy.

Spring also means a trip to the dentist!  Our girls actually like going to the dentist and do not mind having their teeth cleaned.  Sparkling teeth and no cavities!

One of the new trends for the girls is to slide down between the couch and the wall while watching a show.  They get stuck and can't get out without help.  Hmmm... a new way to keep them all in one place?

We also took the girls to Yellowstone Bear World.  It's only 20 minutes away yet we have never been before.  The girls loved watching the bears out the car windows but their favorite part was the amusement rides.  We discovered that none of our girls are timid when it comes to moving rides.

And our favorite thing to do after a great day is ICE CREAM!

I wish that we got a pick of Lei when she first started to eat, she loves to eat the bottom of the cone first.  I believe that she fully understands the true mess this causes as her ice cream melts and drips out both ends.  It's all good, Lexi prefers to eat her ice cream like a puppy.
