Busy Babes

Time is flying by with these busy babes! Addi has been taking swimming lessons this month. Mom was not sure how she would do in the water all by herself but Addi loved her swim lessons and is more relaxed in the water now. Addi learned how to do assisted floats on her back and belly, she will even put her face in the water. She went from only jumping into the water assisted to being able to jump in all by her self. She is working on learning how to kick her feet and rotate her arms at the same time, and she learned how to crawl like a spider monkey along the pool wall. All of these big steps have helped our little timid girl become more comfortable in the water.

Our little teether loves to chew on anything and everything! Lexi still just has her front two bottom teeth but she loves to chew on things. She loves her exersaucer because she is upright and she can turn, bounce and chew. Lexi is starting to move around more, she stretches and reaches for objects and usually gets them. She is not so fond of being on her tummy but she loves to sit up and can sit all by her self with out any support until she decides to reach for something and tips over. She is such a happy baby with her big beautiful sapphire blues eyes, she is such a little charmer. Lexi is also starting to mimic sounds and syllables. The other day big sister was playing peek a boo with her and even though she did not say peek a boo she did get the three syllable sound out. She is also working on dada but it comes out more like dadadada. Of course we think she is brilliant and cheer on every successful attempt.

One of Lexi's other changes is that her hair is starting to lay a little flatter. We will miss her crazy spiky do but love her silky shine smooth head too. Of course big sister had to show off her long locks too!
